Meat Our Team

At the Sitabu-Bunkato Initiative for Indigenous Rights and Ecological Justice (SIBIREJ), our team brings together dedicated individuals rooted in the Afar community and professionals with diverse expertise in environmental research, ecosystem restoration, Indigenous rights, and sustainable development. United by a shared commitment to ecological justice and community-led action, we seek to connect Indigenous knowledge with scientific expertise and international collaboration to support lasting positive change.

Our team and advisors contribute local knowledge, technical expertise, and strategic guidance to strengthen SIBIREJ’s mission and expand its impact.
